Back again. Hopefully healed enough to start working on website again. Thanks to all for your support and for dropping by the website even when no new recipe has been posted.

Try your local Farmers Market if you need fresh green beans or other fresh vegetables. There is one in most towns. Check around if you aren't familiar with yours.----
Pan Fried Green Beans for 4
½ lb green beans, trimmed
1 ½ T. light soy sauce
½ T. balsamic vinegar
½ tsp white sugar
1 T. sesame oil
1 T. minced garlic
Place green beans in a large saucepan or pot with one inch of water. Bring to boil and cover and cook for 5 minutes. They should be firm and bright green.
In a small bowl stir together the soy sauce, balsamic vinegar and sugar. Set aside.
Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over mid. Heat. Add garlic and cook until starting to brown. Add the green beans and stir to coat with the oil. Stir in the soy sauce mixture and simmer for a couple of minutes uncovered to reduce sauce. Tranfer the beans to a serving dish and pour sauce over them.
