I tried a new Meat Loaf recipe on Monday...had the leftovers tonight and it was even better warmed over. You might want to try it?
We liked the bit of hot flavor from the soup. Its a new soup, you might have to hunt for it with the other soups.
Meatloaf
1 can (10 3/4 oz) Campbell's Southwest Style Pepper Jack Soup
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. salt (or to suit your taste and diet)
Use only 1/2 can soup in the mix, put the other 1/2 on top as it bakes.
Put in 8x4 inch loaf pan.
Bake @350 deg. for 30 minutes,
then add the other 1/2 can of soup over top and bake another 30 minutes.
Serves 6 ....I think it would make good sandwiches with the leftovers.
I made the onion casserole with it and it was so good
Onion CasseroleSlice two onions in baking dish...cover with
1 can of cr. of chicken soup,
1 cup grated American or Cheddar Cheese,
Top with 1/2 cup crushed Regular Potato Chips.
Put in 9x13 casserole dish. Bake at 350 deg. for 45 minutes.
